Project Idea

EI Coatings approached us to redesign their logo after they were advised by their printer that a premium packaging design was not possible with their current logo. After a discussion with EI Coatings we reassured them that there would be no problem in creating packaging that would appeal to their target audience. One of our goals for our clients is to maximise their budget so if something is not necessary we will advise accordingly and ensure excellent value for money in the project.

Project Description

We began with the EI Coatings logo and tweaked the colours only to create a more premium look. Then we developed a range of supporting brand design elements. These additional elements make a brand much stronger visually and allow future designs to stand out from competitors. Once all of the branding visuals were approved we put them together in a brand guideline. This guideline ensures that all designs follow the same look and feel to create brand consistency. All of the groundwork for the branding means that designs for items such as posters, pull up banners, tradeshow stands and brochures are faster to design and they follow the same style for impact. We designed graphic for the EI Coating paint cans using a selection of the brand elements for an impactful and elegant design. Technical print specification was discussed with the two printers so that the finished printed packaging was of the highest quality possible.

The Result
