We designed a luxurious label with an accompanying tube, as well as promotional materials for the launch.
We designed bespoke marketing materials for the launch of Tipperary Boutique Distillery’s Cask Sales campaign. This included a bespoke promotional brochure, an order form for customers and a certificate to acknowledge their unique cask order.
We designed a unique label to showcase Tipperary Boutique Distillery’s first homegrown barley whiskey. The parallel lines created with the die-cut shape are inspired by the lines seen in the field where the barley was grown. It is also a nod to the family field’s name ‘Railway Line’. The dark background allows the whiskey colour to bounce and is inspired by the colour of Rioja wine. Printed as a Pantone spot colour ensured a matt finish to create maximum contrast against the foiled elements. These malt whiskey bottles were presented in custom handmade wooden boxes. The laser engraving on the box was designed specifically to reflect some of the label elements.
As a follow on from their single cask sell out release, Tipperary Boutique Distillery released ‘The Railway Field’ batch 1. We designed a new gold foil label to differentiate from the blue foil used in the single cask release while also creating an association between the two releases. We also designed a tube for the bottles, which adds protection during shipping and adds a sense of luxury to the overall look. The tubes are manufactured from 100% recycled board and are also recyclable. The tube design reflects the label design and features gold foil on the lid. Traditionally tubes feature a butt jointed closing but we created a gap between the lid and base to match the parallel lines found on the labels. We also added the distiller’s signature to the base of the tube as a sign-off and mark of his approval. The overall look is visually attractive and has wonderful shelf appeal.
Tipperary Boutique Distillery is a family owned business from Cahir, Co. Tipperary. We have been working alongside Tipperary Boutique Distillery over the past few years on their marketing materials and product packaging for their superior product offerings.
The team of Jennifer Nickerson, her Dad Stuart Nickerson and her husband Liam Ahern founded Tipperary Boutique Distillery in 2014. Having spent the past few years releasing independently bottled selections of single malt Irish whiskeys, they decided to release their first homegrown, single estate Single Malt Irish whiskey.
